GWIZ - The Science Museum is a hands-on science and technology center that complements the formal science cirriculum of regional school districts and serves as an exciting "recreational learning" destination for people of all ages. Central to its educational mission is the demystification of new technologies, providing visitors with personal experiences that allow them to better undrstand and use current technology in their daily lives.
GWIZ is a 33,000 square foot hands-on science center for all ages. Explore the interactive gallery and critter habitat, see the Fab Lab in action and visit special travelling exhibits. GWIZ offers year-round programming including summer camps, school groups, community groups, residents and tourists. GWIZ is located at 1001 Blvd. of the Arts, Sarasota.
