Amazing, state-of-the art Laser Lightshows and Starshows presentations place visitors in a simulated thunderstorm and carry them through the galaxy on a photon of light. Observe the solar system on The Rooftop Observatory - for lunar, planetary and deep-sky observation. See Mo and Snooty the West Indian Manatees at The Parker Manatee Aquarium.

The Parker Manatee Aquarium's Manatee Care specialists provide presentations about manatee habitat, nutrition and physiology. The Aquarium is a second stage rehabilitation facility which provides a temporary home for manatees that are released back into the wild. The 60,000 gallon water tank is the permanent home to Manatee County's most famous resident and the oldest known manatee in the world, Snooty. Feeding & Presentation Times: Monday-Saturday 11:15am, 1:00pm, 2:45pm, & 3:45pm. Sunday 1:00pm, 2:45pm, & 3:45pm.

The Digital Full Dome Planetarium Theater boasts one of the most advanced projection systems in the world. Incorporating unidirectional stadium style seating and a digital 25,000 watt Dolby 5.1 surround sound system. Watch as Rockets takes you on an outstanding adventure through our solar system, check out Extreme Planets, newly discover planets and systems, and join a staff astronomer for Live Star talks.

The South Florida Museum includes the First Floor Galleries - archaeological material representing paleoindian, archaic and pre-contact cultures in the Great Hall, Land of Change, Fabulous Florida Seas, Archaic Peoples and the Tallant Gallery brimming with information and objects that reflect the prehistory of Gulf Coast Florida, the Second Floor Galleries - which exhibits extraordinary decorative arts, and The Visible Storage Gallery - portions of extensive collections rotated throughout the year for viewing. Also don't miss The River Heritage Hall - which studies the economics, government, culture and geography of the community with a focus of local maritime history.
